Mel Bellefleur has been singing, and acting since she was barely old enough to make noise, and definitely before she could walk. A child of the 80's, her music heroes are those like Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, and it is no surprise that her nick name is none other than Melator, owing tribute to her beloved action villain Skeletor, from Masters of the Universe.

Yes, she is a bit of a tom-boy, but she is a girlie-girl when it suits her as well. Aside from being a recording artist in duo Bellefeur facebook she is also a model. From the time she was old enough walk, her big cousin was dressing her up and having her put on "fashion shows." She never dreamed it could be a reality for her life, but now that that dream has been realized. Mel is one of those models that steps into a room and brings a story and creativity to the set.

Mel is also an actress working in theater, film and television. She is the type that may seem very shy when you first meet her, but once she knows you, has a very bubbly personality and comedic timing naturally that developed very young. She was introduced to theater very young and fell in love. She loves to entertain a live audience, but over the last few years has also learned that she has a new passion as well...film. It was a love slower to develop, but she caught the bug and it is here to stay.

Mel Bellefleur just moved back from Nashville to Los Angeles this past year and 2011 has her pursuing film and television, as well as preparing for her upcoming album....it's been a busy first year back in Los Angeles.
